Ok, so, hopefully the fourth time will be a charm for Roger. This is the longest Roger has gone without winning a title since he became the number 1 player in the world. Roger will make his Miami debut against France’s Gael Monfils. I want to say that I don’t have any worries about Roger making it deep in the tournament and winning, but honestly, I’m skeptical because of Roger’s recent struggles. Sometimes we get glimpses of the Roger we know, like in his first three matches in Indian Wells, but then we get an awful, un-Rogerly performance. It’s mind boggling how Roger could go from being so dominant to looking so…average in the same tournament.

Well, hopefully Roger will force me to eat my own words by winning in Miami.
