Roger topped off a great season 2007 season with a victory at the Tennis Masters Cup. The final was a great match to watch, if you’re a Roger fan. He won the match 6-2, 6-3, 6-2. Roger was in control of the match from the beginning, but Ferrer tried to all that he could to make it a competitive match. However, it was as if David was dying a slow death.
Today, the Spaniard was simply no match for Roger’s blend of spins, power and volleying skills, managing only 10 winners to 38 unforced errors as he was forced to try to do too much with Roger getting everything back. Roger had 30 winners and 29 unforced errors.
Now, Roger will play Pete Sampras in three exhibition matches which will be great for the promotion of tennis worldwide. I hope the match that Roger announced is to be played in Madison Square Garden in March will happen because I’ll definitely try to get tickets.
There are highlights from the final on tennis.com.

Nice blog on the Master. I have a website dedicated to the great Stefan Edberg, one of Federer’s idols. Wish we could exchange links. Let me know.
