Br-easy Day for the Fed

13124_us_open_tennissff.jpgWhat a beautiful, sunny, yet breezy day for tennis in the Big Apple. Roger played his first match in vintage early round style - finding his rage and getting used to the surroundings. Roger beat American Scoville Jenkins 6-3, 6-2, 6-4. It didn’t seem to difficult for Roger, but Scoville turned it up a notch towards the end of the third set which in turn made Roger turn up his game.

All-in-all, Roger looked to be serving and hitting his groundstrokes well. It looks promising, but we’ll have to wait and see what the rest of the draw will bring.
