The men’s draw for the US Open came out yesterday, and upon looking at it, Roger has arguably the toughest draw. Names such as Juan Carlos Ferrero, Richard Gasquet, and Jarkko Nieminen all appear in Roger’s quarter of the draw, not to mention a possible quarter-final date with Andy Roddick. On paper, this draw may be troubling for Federer fans, but Roger has been dealt tough draws in years past and has breezed by them with flying colors. It seems that Roger is always up to the challenge of beating the top contenders, and he consistently does. It just adds to his greatest.
I wish Roger the best in the defense of his title.
