Unfortunately, the French Open slipped through Roger’s fingers yet again. “I am a little sad about the way I played. I have not accomplished what I had planned. But this was certainly not the last time I played here, I’ll try again next year,” Roger said after the match. Of course it’s disappointing, but I don’t think that Roger is someone who will feel sorry for himself. This will keep Roger hungry and striving to improve himself (if that’s even possible with his amazing game) so that he can continue having these opportunities. Now Roger and fans can turn their attention to Wimbledon.
Congratulations to Rafael on another great French Open, and to Justine Henin for her fourth French title!
